2 DAY TOUBKAL TOUR FROM MARRAKECH

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – IMLIL – SIDI CHAMCHAROUCH – TOUBKAL REFUGE

2-day Toubkal trekking tour starts today and you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech. Then your private driver/guide will transfer you to the village of Imlil (1740m), which is located about 65 km south of Marrakech. Here starts our Atlas trekking tour and here we will meet the Berber muleteer crew. They will accompany us during this Morocco trekking tour and take care of our baggage, also food. An official, experienced and English speaking mountain guide will take you on a trekking tour walk through the Berber villages. We pass via the shrine Sidi Chamharouch (2500m). Here we may stop for a lunch, prepared by our personal mountain cook. After lunch, we will continue our Atlas trekking to the Refuge (3200m). In the evening you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal for dinner. During summer months there is an option to spend a night in the mountain tent. Enjoy Morocco Atlas trekking tour with us.

DAY 2: TOUBKAL REFUGE – SUMMIT – RETURN TO IMLIL

The next day of our 2 day Toubkal trekking tour after breakfast we will begin the ascent climb at 5:30 a.m. After walking uphill for around 3.5 hours, we will enjoy an amazing view of the whole High Atlas Mountains. Afterward, we return back for the lunch and we continue to Imlil following the same route down the hill. From Imlil, we will be transported back to Marrakech.
